It’s that time of year again! It’s time to paint the town GREEN, because it’s the World Environment Day!
We love this day, because it’s one time when everyone we know is talking about the planet. And we hope that this can be a conversation that lasts through out the entire year!
At Ecoright, we're all about making a planet positive impact, and this year we're super stoked about the theme for Environment Day 2023 - #BeatPlasticPollution.
We resonate with this theme so much! One of our core values is to beat plastic. Which is why not only do we not use any virgin plastic in our entire supply chain, we also use recycled plastic bottles (RPET) in our products so we can remove the trash that’s already in our ecosystem and save it from polluting our seas and landfills for the next 1000 years.
So this World Environment Day, we decided to switch up the sustainability conversation. While sustainability seems like a commitment, and seems to be a huge ask, we think otherwise. And we believe in #SustainabilityEveryday and taking small steps everyday!
Here’s our team with some messages for you! We decided to debunk some myths about sustainability too. Because let's face it, that outfit looks amazing on you, and it's perfectly okay to rock it more often!
We understand that transitioning to a completely sustainable lifestyle can be challenging. But here's the secret: small steps taken every single day can create a massive impact!
It can be as simple as:
- Turning off the lights when not in use
- Saying no to plastic bags when on a grocery run
- Swapping single-use items with reusable ones
- Opting for recycled products to eliminate existing plastic
- Saying a big Yass to organic materials
